    Small Business Association of Michigan (SBAM):

    • The Small Business Association of Michigan has an entire website devoted to Covid-19, from Unemployment, SBAM loans, Family Leave Act, legal issues and much more.

    • SBAM also hosts a call every day at 3:00 pm in which they go discuss new developments. Check out SBAM.org/covid19 for more information.

    • SBAM has received news of the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) Michigan Small Business Relief Program Funding. This information very time-sensitive. The Grant monies are being distributed by Economic Development Organizations (EDO) by region. A couple of the EDO’s want applications by the end of day this Sunday, others Tuesday, March 31, and a few aren’t event set up yet.  They are giving folks a very small window to apply, and there is not a lot of money as it is spread out across the state.

    The Michigan Small Business Relief Program grants are administered by 15 local and nonprofit economic development organizations (EDOs). To apply, find the EDO at the following link that represents the county in which your business is located.”
